How it started

Came for a meeting.
Stayed for the donuts.
Left with a seat at the table.

The donuts were tire marks on an empty campus floor. What followed was the opportunity to build Sports Academy’s first Media & Brand department, creative team & in-house production studio.

01 / The challenge

“Build the brand
while they build the building.”

A 100,000-square-foot campus was taking shape. The ambition was already there; the media operation, brand voice & production capability still needed to be built.

The challenge was to turn that vision into something people could understand, believe in & connect with—before the doors opened.

02 / The solution

First, build the team.

Before the doors opened, the work was already underway around makeshift tables. Building the brand meant bringing the people who shaped it closer to the people bringing the campus to life.

PR, production & brand strategy belonged inside the building, too.

Media

An in-house creative team & production studio turned daily access into original stories. Photography, film & editing lived alongside the action, with social carrying it beyond the campus.

Brand

Positioning, identity & creative direction gave Sports Academy a shared voice—and gave its athletes the support to develop brands of their own.

Built inside the brand

media & brand
gave us a voice.

Bringing PR, production & brand strategy in-house gave Sports Academy the ability to tell its own stories—and help athletes build their brands. Every event and tournament fueled original content, while athletes, families & partners amplified it through their own channels.

That momentum generated hundreds of thousands of impressions a week. Bleacher Report covered the stories. ESPN & TMZ aired our media. Celebrities & athletes came to create with us, opening doors to leading sports agents and their client rosters.

03 / The launch

A vision
people could see.

The pre-launch Rise film brought the energy and ambition of Sports Academy into focus. The story now had a place, a team & a way to reach people beyond the campus.

04 / Beyond the campus

The moments
that traveled.

Social content and press gave campus stories a life beyond the building. The Jamie Foxx moment is one from that chapter.
